goodbye Melboring, hello fabulous England. ... part deux

At immigration the guy asked me if I would just be sitting around for two monthes and all this other stuff before finally letting me go. Then at baggage claim I was trying to carry two huge suitcases and two carry-ons until I spotted the carts which were luckily free. I met my grandparents on the other end. Then it was a long drive back to their house. So all in all the trip lasted like 14 hours from my house to their house. I was so glad to be here and off the plane. I get along really well with my grandparents and they are so much more open-minded in England. They won't mind me going off to pubs and drinking and such. They gave me a lot of money to get me started and so I have plenty for my trip. It's cute because they are retired so me being here gives them something to do and they had something to look forward too. They thanked me for coming.
My room is so nice. It has a double bed and view of my grandpa's garden which has lots of fresh vegetables and flowers. I have a phone and a computer and I'm borrowing my grandparents cell phone for when I go out.
My cousins and uncle came over today. Me and my cousin Dan are really good friends. We are both the same age so it works out. He says his friends want to meet me, so thats exciting!! Then my moms best friend's daughter wants to hang out this weekend and my uncle said I could stay over his house if I wanted to. Its big and he is hardly ever home.
Dinner was fantastic tonight. Best food I have had in ages. I love English food and have already had my fair share of sweets (candy.) I have to get used to the lingo here. I'll probably start writing like it.
I am so lucky to have this amazing opportunity. I get to relax, enjoy a new exciting place, meet new people, have fabulous food and live life as it was intended to be. Ahh, I'm so happy right now.
I miss you chicas and hope everyone else is having a good time. Make sure to update and e-mail me. I already am and I'm in another country and its my first day! Good luck on your first day of college.
